Problem Statement
In today's evolving educational landscape, students and teachers face challenges that impede effective learning. Traditional models often lack personalization, flexibility, and engagement. Students struggle with complex concepts, delayed feedback, and limited access to tailored resources. Teachers find it difficult to reach diverse students, provide personalized instruction, and manage workloads efficiently.
Proposed Solution
Vibgyor, an online educational platform addresses these issues by enabling one-on-one student-teacher interactions (along with the traditional methods), personalized module delivery, and direct communication via messaging or video calls. This solution aims to create a more effective, accessible, and engaging educational experience for both students and teachers.
1. Market Research
Initially, we conducted brainstorming sessions and market research to conceptualize the platform idea. The first step was Market Research, where I meticulously identified our target audience—students seeking personalized learning experiences and teachers looking for efficient teaching tools. Analyzing competitors provided crucial insights into existing platforms, their strengths, weaknesses, and user feedback. Additionally, assessing market trends helped identify emerging tools and methods to ensure the platform's relevance and competitiveness. This phase guided our strategy to differentiate our platform by emphasizing personalized learning modules and interactive teaching tools.
1.1 Identifying Target Audience:
-
Students (Age 8+ recommended)
-
Tearchers
-
Parents - monitor activity of children

1.2 Competitor Analysis
I performed a thorough competitive analysis that offered valuable insights into the features, functions, user flows, and content of market giants like Byju's, Vedantu & Khan Academy. By comprehending these aspects of competitor’s products, I want to strategically create a solution aimed at delivering a superior product and user experience.
1.3 Assess Market Trends
By assessing market trends I ensured our platform remains relevant and competitive. I analyzed current educational technologies, emerging tools, and industry reports. This helped identify popular features, user preferences, and future directions in online education, guiding our platform's development to meet evolving market demands effectively.
2. User Research

User Research was integral to understanding the specific needs and preferences of our target users. Through surveys and interviews with students, teachers, and educational institutions, we gained insights into their pain points, such as limited accessibility and engagement issues in traditional learning settings. Creating detailed user personas helped us tailor the platform to address these challenges effectively, ensuring it met diverse user expectations and learning styles.
2.1 User Reviews Of Competitor Apps:
To gain deeper insights, we examined user reviews on platforms like Byju's, Khan Academy, and Vedantu. This helped us identify common pain points such as:
-
Technical Issues: Frequent bugs, slow loading times.
-
Content Quality: Outdated materials, lack of engaging content.
-
Accessibility: Limited features for differently-abled users.
These insights were pivotal in shaping our approach to Vibgyor's development, ensuring we addressed these gaps effectively.
